RE: Comments on Draft Oregon Energy Strategy
We represent climate advocacy organizations, clean energy developers, environmental justice organizations, faith communities, grassroots groups, conservation, and more. Many of us advocated for the passage of HB 3630 in 2023 because we believe that having Oregon-specific data, research and planning will position our state to take thoughtful and equitable action to achieve our goals. Many of us were also engaged in the advisory and working groups throughout the energy strategy’s development, while others have been tracking the progress of
the energy strategy from outside the process. Our organizations represent Oregonians from every corner of this state who want to see us reach our climate and energy goals through equitable solutions.
